BIOGRAPHY
Lovro Korošec is a 25 year old Slovenian baritone who began his operatic career as a young treble singer, making his debut at the tender age of nine in the operetta Melodies of the Heart. Following this impressive start, he went on to complete his bachelor's degree as a baritone at the prestigious Music Academy of the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and later The University of Arts in Graz (Austria).
Throughout his studies, he has appeared as a soloist in various opera projects, immersing himself in both contemporary and classical opera and art song.
He frequently collaborates with the esteemed maestro George Pehlivanian, performing as the lead baritone in operas like Le nozze di Figaro, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Carmen and Traviata.
Besides opera, he dedicates his time to art song and regularly partners with pianist Barbara Verhovnik and Nejc Lavrenčič.
